As we proclaim the celebration of the Pride Month, let’s go to back to Stonewall Inn in 1969 on date of 28 June as Marsha P Johnson and Sylvia Ray Rivera raised the first bricks to be thrown in what came to be known as the ‘Stonewall Riots’, a major event in the LGBTQ+ community’s history.
